It's Friday, TGIF!  My Sea Oats Grass is starting to turn color for autumn.  It's looking photogenic as always and had some lovely bubbly bokeh in this image.  Sharing it for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog!

It's Friday, TGIF!  I usually post my Sea Oats Grass in autumn with the brown color but I was at the pond the other day and saw that it was looking lovely while still green as well.  It had some wonderful bubble bokeh behind so sharing for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog!

Happy Friday TGIF!  Today is a partial palindrome date day. 😁  As I write this, it is supposed to be snowing today.  Last weekend was warm and rainy though.  On a walk I was able to capture this photo of water drops on heads of grass.  The bubbly bokeh in this image made it perfect for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is one I captured of my favorite grass, Sea Oats.  I find it picturesque with it's curves and how it's seed heads hang.  I chose this image for today due to it's great bubbly bokeh because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!  There is a Kansas variety of this that is called Broad-Leaf Wood-Oats.  I believe I have some of this as well in another area of my yard.

It's Friday, TGIF!  I was over at my Gazebo pond recently and the Sea Oats grass was still looking good.  I took this image with my phone and really liked the bokeh in the image.  Followers to the Blog know that Fridays Are Bokehlicious here!

While out on Konza  Prairie, I saw my favorite grass.  I was not able to photograph it at the time due to leading a walk but I went out after and was able to find a bit and get a couple photos.  This is June Grass which is appropriately named because it blooms in June.  It is a very photogenic grass I think when photographed back lit by the sun.

I am looking forward to summer.  Today's image is of one of my favorite grasses from summer that I find out on Konza Prairie while hiking.  This is June Grass which gets its name because it blooms in June.  I love to capture it backlit as I find it very photogenic in the way it captures the light.

Today's image is one I took in Minnesota though I am sure if I looked, could have taken here.  It was a very good example of grass in bloom that I happened to see one day while photographing dragonflies.  I am not very familiar with grass types so not sure what this is.  I was just interested by the tiny flowers on it.

One of my favorite grasses is in it's prime right now.  This is an image of my Sea Oats Grass.  In late summer the seed heads turn a golden/brownish color and look lovely when backlit by the sun.  This image is from the group I planted by my Gazebo pond but I also had a surprise this year and I have a group of Sea Oats right in one of the beds in front of my deck that must have been planted by a bird as it is no where near close enough to have been the wind.

I was out on Konza Prairie a couple weekends ago and I was able to see my favorite grass.  This is June grass which I find very photogenic, especially when the sun is low and backlights the tufted flowering heads of it.  It actually blooms May through July but I have always been able to capture it during it's namesake month.

We are supposed to have snow today, we shall see if it happens as I get these ready to post early.  I am dreaming of summer these days.  This is my favorite grass as I find it very photogenic especially when backlit by the sun.  This is June Grass that I photographed last June out on Konza Prairie.

Happy Friday, TGIF!  This is strand of my Sea Oats Grass that I captured this autumn before something ate it to the ground.  Hoping it will survive that and come back in the spring.  Not sure what would eat it like that, it was pretty dry at the time, you would think animals would have gone for something more tender.  Anyway, this image had a bit of lovely bubbly bokeh so had to share it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

This is my favorite grass.  It photographs really well, especially when backlit.  This is called June Grass and I shot it last June out on Konza Prairie during a wildflower walk refresher.  Their annual Wildflower Walk is coming up on June 5 and is well worth it.  Beautiful views and lots of wildflowers to see.

It's Friday, TGIF!  Friday's are Bokehlicious as well!  Today's bokeh image is of a lovely backlit grass head that I captured last week while returning from a walk.  I love the detail in a backlit piece of grass.  I also loved the bubbly bokeh behind it as well.

It's Friday, TGIF!  It's Black Friday here in the US where people typically shop for deals and do it quite early in the morning.  Not my thing.  😁  Friday's are also Bokehlicious!  I chose this image of my Sea Oats grass that had some lovely backlight on them and some subdued bubbly bokeh in the background.

My Sea Oats Grass seed heads are turning to their autumn colors.  I captured this image of it in the late afternoon recently.  I love how they look when backlit by the sun.  The grass has done well, it's third year at least in this spot but I wish it would spread like it is known to do.  Something must be eating all the seeds.

While out on Konza Prairie this past weekend, I was able to see and photograph my favorite grass.  I don't know many by name, I am much better with flowers, but this one I know.  This is June Grass blooming in June.  😃  I especially love it when it is backlit by the sun such as in this photo.  The way the edges are highlighted is really beautiful to me.

I took this image in mid November of last year while we were having some beautiful sunsets.  I decided to get a bit artsy with this one and shot it through the tall grasses growing along the road.
