While I was out on a bike ride this past week, I spotted this gal in the road. Why did the Mantis cross the road? 😁 She let me take a few photos. I debated on whether or not to make sure she went into the grass but decided she was close enough to the edge and it wasn't a well traveled road so I left her alone. When I went by the same spot the next day I could tell she had safely made it off the road. She was big, about 6 inches long.
