 Happy Monday and happy new week!  My Stella D'oro Lilies have been in bloom recently.  I captured one of them up close.  These are perennial flowers that are very reliable bloomers with very little care.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Friday's Are Bokehlicious and I have a very lovely bubbly bokeh picture for today.  This is an image of my neighbor's Lily in bloom from this past June as well as yesterday's image.

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  My neighbor's Lilies were putting on a very nice show this year.  She encouraged me to photograph them and I was happy to oblige.  😁

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  Starting off the week with a flower that is already putting up it's leaves for the year.  This is a Surprise Lily after a rain.  The leaves have been coming up for over 2 weeks already.  They started the week after the below zero weather as we were in the 60s then.  It's been yoyoing between normal and cold but nothing crazy like we had.  The leaves die off during the summer and then in late July through August the flowers appear and it is quite the lovely surprise to see them.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is of a flower that is just now blooming for me, a Surprise Lily .  I had 3 of them pop up about a week ago and it has been very dry so I thought that was all I was going to get but we got an inch of rain the other day and now, quite a few more are popping up.  This one is in a weird area that I did not put it.  I am guessing a Squirrel or something must have buried the bulb there.  Anyway, it always makes for a lovely shot with the beautiful bokeh from the tree leaves behind and I had to share it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

 Happy Monday and new week!  These flowers are called Surprise Lilies and this group was a surprise to me.  It was a beautiful bouquet of them in a spot I was not expecting to see any at all, much less a group of them.  They are lovely while blooming but they are all done now.  They have a nice smell while blooming as well.

 Happy Monday!  Wow, July is going so fast and soon summer will be over.  My water Lilies are blooming well this year.  This is a bloom from my pink one in my small backyard pond.  It looked so perfect it almost seemed to be fake.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Friday's Are Bokehlicious so I have chosen this photo for today.  My red Lily by the Gazebo pond was flowering quite well recently.  I took a photo of a large group of them and loved the bubbly bokeh to the right especially.

 Happy Monday.  Today's image is one I captured of one of my surprise Lilies in bloom.  They are also known by other names.  Their leaves come up in early spring and then die off.  In late summer the flower stalk pops up and they bloom.  They have a strong smell and attract butterflies and moths.

 My Surprise Lilies/Naked Ladies whatever you call them were blooming very well recently and really drawing in various types of nature.  One that came to visit several times was this Sphinx Moth.  I saw an actual Hummingbird Moth one evening too but did not have a camera and it was getting fairly dark.  I was pretty happy with how this image turned out.

 I am looking forward to flowers blooming again.  As I write this, the forecast is 100% chance of a wintery mix for today.  We shall see as we have not really had a real winter yet.  Anyway, my image for today is of a lovely Stargazer Lily that was given to me by my friend for my birthday a couple of years ago.  I love it's lovely color.

 I love Water Lilies.  My large pond had a yellow one in it that emerged after pulling out a bunch of Cattails around it.  This past year I put this one from my small pond in it and it seemed to thrive fairly well.  It bloomed several times during the summer and produced some really large pads.  I took this shot of it shortly after a rain.

 I love my Toad Lilies, they are so unique looking.  Each year the plant gets larger and produces more blooms.  This year several blooms were frozen out by the early frost but I did manage to capture several before that.  This is a 3 image focus stack of a couple of them open.

 My large pond had a nice surprise in it after I had had cleaned out numerous Cattails, this yellow Water Lily plant.  It has been blooming quite a lot now that it is more free of the Cattails.  This is one of the images I got of it late this past summer.  With the cold weather, the Lilies are all done blooming and we have to wait until next summer for sights like this.

 Every year my Toad Lily produces more stalks and more blooms which is exactly what I would hope it would do.  😀  This is one of the groups that I took an image of just as it was starting to bloom.  Tricyritis hirta, the Toad Lily or Hairy Toad Lily is a Japanese species of a hardy Lily plant.  It is easy to see why it is called "hairy" when you view it larger.  This is a 3 image focus stack for better detail.  Toad Lilies grow best in the shade and bloom in the autumn.

 My yellow Lilies have put on a nice show this summer.  They have been blooming for a good while in the garden this year due to the rain we have had I think.
