Happy Monday and happy new week!  My water Lilys have just about finished for the year.  They were quite lovely while blooming and gave a nice pop of color to the pond.

Happy Monday and happy new week!  I shared my white water Lily a while back.  My pink one has been blooming recently and produced this very nice bloom.

Happy Monday and happy new week!  My small pond's Lilies took quite the beating in the storm with the pads becoming all broken up, you can see some pieces of them in the image.  Two days after the storm though, I had one of the most perfect and beautiful Lily blooms open which was quite the surprise and lovely to see amongst the damage.

Happy Monday!  Wow, July is going so fast and soon summer will be over.  My water Lilies are blooming well this year.  This is a bloom from my pink one in my small backyard pond.  It looked so perfect it almost seemed to be fake.

My yellow water Lily has been blooming all summer.  I captured this image one afternoon when the water was rather still due to not much wind for once.

Happy first day of Summer!  We have been quite hot already.  Makes me a bit worried of what actual summer will be like.  My Water Lilys are producing really well this year in both ponds.  This lovely one is from my smaller backyard pond.

I love Water Lilies.  My large pond had a yellow one in it that emerged after pulling out a bunch of Cattails around it.  This past year I put this one from my small pond in it and it seemed to thrive fairly well.  It bloomed several times during the summer and produced some really large pads.  I took this shot of it shortly after a rain.

My large pond had a nice surprise in it after I had had cleaned out numerous Cattails, this yellow Water Lily plant.  It has been blooming quite a lot now that it is more free of the Cattails.  This is one of the images I got of it late this past summer.  With the cold weather, the Lilies are all done blooming and we have to wait until next summer for sights like this.

When I first got my new large pond it was very overgrown with Cattails.  I worked a LOT to thin those out and clean up the pond from old debris and other weeds.  I discovered after cleaning all that out that there was a yellow water Lily growing in the pond as well and then this year I added this white one which I thought was going to be pink.  It seems to be thriving as well and I got this image of one of the flowers it produced recently.

It was bitterly cold last night and this morning, only around 10 F on my way to work this morning.  Yuck.  I decided I wanted a photo that reminded me of warmth.  This is a lovely water Lily from my backyard pond this past summer.

We have been soooo dreary for so long.  It's been at least a week since we last saw the sun.  I needed something bright.  This is an image I was able to capture of the yellow water lily in my new pond this past summer.  It was quite a surprise as it bloomed late in the season but once it started it kept putting out flowers and was quite lovely.

Well we are not getting much of an autumn it seems like.  The temps this weekend are looking more like winter.  I think it's going to be a long one.  Sigh.  The yellow Water Lily at my new pond has been lovely.  I captured this image last week in between the rain which was great because of the drought we have been having.

My new pond has a Water Lily plant in it and it bloomed last week.  I was able to see that it was a lovely yellow variety.  All the little green dots around it, providing some bokeh, are called Duckweed and are common in ponds in Kansas I have found out.

The last day of November.  Christmas is coming fast.  My image today is an older one of a Water Lily in my pond and it is one that I played around with quite a bit.

Posting early today due to being on holiday from work.  I haven't shared just a straight flower macro in a while, usually has a butterfly or bee on it.  This is a lovely Water Lily from my pond this past summer.  It reminds me of much warmer days instead of the mid 40s we are having right now.
