Happy Monday and happy new week!  Starting off with an image that makes me happy, a butterfly and a Zinnia.  This is a Clouded Sulphur butterfly I captured this past week on one of the Zinnias in a pot on the deck.

It's Friday, TGIF!  I finally have an Aster plant that I bought and planted that is doing fairly well.  Yay.  It was blooming recently and attracting the small butterflies that have been around this year.  I captured this Clouded Sulphur enjoying the blooms one afternoon.  The image has some great bubbly bokeh so sharing it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog!

Happy Friday, TGIF!  There have not been large butterflies around it seems this summer.  I have lots of Skippers and several of these though.  This is a Clouded Sulphur that I captured enjoying a Zinnia bloom the other day.  It was nicely backlit for me and it also had some lovely bokeh in the image which is why I am sharing it for today.  Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

It's Friday, TGIF!  I felt like a butterfly image as I am eager for spring to arrive and stay for good.  We have spring flowers coming up but we are still experiencing snow and cold weather.  This is a Clouded Sulphur that I captured on one of the Coneflowers in my yard this past summer.  I chose this image for the lovely creamy like bokeh behind because Friday's Are Bokehlicious as well!

It's a double digit day and also it is Veteran's Day here in the US.  Remember to support our Troops.

Today's image is one I was able to capture a while back of a lovely Clouded Sulphur butterfly that was enjoying the Ironweed flowers in my yard in late summer.

It's a double digit day.  😃 I captured this Clouded Sulphur butterfly in flight the other day.  It was a completely lucky occurance that it was in focus as I was trying to capture it sitting and it worked out as it took off.  I thought it was eat to see there was a little bug of some kind in the shot as well off to the right.  It was enjoying an Ironweed plant which is a good butterfly magnet.

It's Friday, TGIF!  I captured this Clouded Sulphur (due to the dark bands on the top side of the wings) butterfly in the middle of a Butterfly Bush bloom this past summer.  Of course I also chose this photo today because of the bokeh because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

I love butterflies and I could share a photo every day of them but wouldn't want to bore you so I just go with one a week.  😀  This is a Clouded Sulphur on Alfalfa that I liked the blank background of.  I actually can't remember where I shot this to get that background but I like it a lot.  Looking at some other photos I took around it, it was on a walk and it must be the sidewalk blurred quite a bit.

TGIF!  We made it to another Friday!  My Butterfly Bush was very popular this year with the butterflies.  I was able to capture this Clouded Sulphur on my new pink variety of it earlier this year.  It has a little Skipper companion with it as well.  The bit of bubbly bokeh meant I had to post it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

I thought I would start off this year with my favorite things to photograph.  This image contains two of them, flowers, and especially Sunflowers and butterflies.  This is a Clouded Sulphur enjoying one of my garden Sunflowers from this past summer.

Another Palindrome date and also Friday the 13th.  It's always been a good day for me so hope it continues that way.  Fridays are Bokehlicious so here is a lovely Clouded Sulphur butterfly on a Budlejah bloom with some lovely creamy bokeh behind.

I have not shared a butterfly in a good while, mainly because I have not seen many.  I have seen some beautiful Swallowtails around but never seem to have a camera at the time.  I was able to capture this beautiful Clouded Sulphur on my red Coneflowers recently though.

What lovely weather we are having.  I washed my car yesterday.  If that doesn't make it rain or snow, I don't know what will.  :-)  I had a wacky day and needed something lovely to think about so I decided on this image to share.  This is a Clouded Sulphur butterfly on my Autumn Sedum from this past year.  These yellow butterflies are difficult to capture.  They rarely sit still but I got lucky.
