It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Today's flower is one of my new favorites, Sulphur Cinquefoil.  It blooms in May and June usually.  I transplanted some in my yard and so far it seems to have survived the winter so I am pretty happy.  They are in the Rose family and I find them quite lovely.  Unfortunately deer like them so I will probably have to find a way to protect it.

    1. I know, that surprised me as well. I need to cage it I think, thanks Jim.

  2. Nice shot. I'm with Jim, I would not have guessed that they are part of the rose family.
