This tree is on my brother and sister-in-law's property and is just gorgeous.  It is some kind of Maple, I think, that is red all the time, not just in autumn.   I love shooting trees straight up into them for a bit different perspective.

  1. We have a maple which has red leaves all summer, but when I try to look it up I get "red maple" and it talks about the red leaves in the fall.

    I'll ask a forester friend.

  2. He suggests possibly a Norway Maple. https://nsinvasives.ca/norway-maple/

    1. Don't think it is that. It shows the leaves as being large and green at times. The leaves look a bit different and are never green like that. I think it may be a Crimson King Maple.
