 Happy Monday and happy new week!  My mother-in-law has a very lovely Orchid in bloom that I saw while I was visiting over Thanksgiving.  I had to take and share a photo of it.

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  My mother-in-law had a beautiful Orchid that was blooming while I was there in late December.  It was so pretty and full, I thought it was fake at first.  I had to take a photo of it.  I did a little processing to make it more of a high key look to it.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Friday's are Bokehlicious and I have a lovely bubbly bokeh image of  the Orchids I had shared earlier.  I loved the backlighting on these and the bokeh is created from the light on the leaves in the tree outside.

 Happy Monday and new week!  My mother-in-law had a lovely small blossomed Orchid that was in full bloom on Mother's Day.  I shot it with some strong sunlight from the back and I liked how it turned out.

It's been nice to see the sun these days and that the days are a bit warmer.  I was playing with this Orchid image yesterday instead of doing Christmas things.  😁  I changed the background to a black one because I think it shows off the flowers better.

I visited a friend last week who has quite the green thumb when it comes to Orchids.  He has several that will re-bloom for him and they are all quite pretty.  They were all blooming and I was able to get some photos.  This is a lovely vibrant pink one.

It's Friday!  Short weeks always seem long, it's very weird.  My image today is of some Orchids that are in the office at work.  I shot them against a light wall and gave them a bit of a glow for a dreamy effect.

Happy Valentine's Day!  I am not prepared with a rose pic, shame on me.  😃 I do have this beautiful group of Orchid flowers though.  This was one of our former office Orchids in bloom with the most flowers I have ever seen on a plant at one time.  It was just gorgeous.

This is an older image.  We had an Orchid in our office for several years that was cared for by a great guy who knew what he was doing.  He would bring it by when it was starting to send up flower buds, we would enjoy it while it bloomed and then he took it back home and cared for it till it was ready to bloom again.  This is the last big bloom from it and it was quite the burst of beautiful flowers.

This is another version of the lovely Orchid that some friends of mine bought recently.  I love the colors and patterns of the blooms.  I shot it against a window but I enhanced it even more for the High Key look that resulted here.

Today is Tax day in the US, hope you got them done!  I finished mine with a few days to spare.  :-)  Today's image is of a lovely colored orchid that some good friends of mine have.  I shot it against a bright window of theirs so it gave it a high key look.

This is a different type of Orchid than I am used to seeing.  Not sure what type it is but I thought it was rather pretty and somewhat dainty.  I saw it in the Butterfly Pavilion outside Denver.
