It's Friday, TGIF! Today's image is from when we had the lovely hoar frost event here in the beginning of January. This image was taken as the frost was melting and turning into lovely water drops on everything. I captured these drops on a head of grass with the sunlight on them and some lovely bubbly bokeh behind. It's a great image for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

Happy Friday, TGIF! Today's image is another from the frost event we had a short time ago. My Teasels make for interesting subjects due to how the frost clings to them. I liked the subtle bubbly bokeh in this image as well. Sharing it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

Happy Monday and happy new week! We had some hoar frost again last week and it was even more pronounced than the frost in December. It's rare we get these conditions and now it has happened twice within a month's time. Makes for great photo opportunities. This is a branch of maybe my Lilac that looks like it was sugar coated.

TGIF, it's Friday!! Today's image is another I took during the day we had some lovely light hoar frost in our area. The dried Teasels in the yard looked like they had a nice coating of sugar. Sharing this image today due to the lovely bokeh behind because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

Happy Monday and new week! We had a neat and rare occurrence on Saturday. We had some fog in our area which created Hoar frost! It wasn't as large as some I have seen in the past but it made for some nice photos of a few things. This is some Bittersweet that I captured in my yard that looks like it is sugar coated. This is a focus stack of 2 images to get more detail.

I captured this image on the day of the fog and Hoar frost. These are the Union Pacific tracks that run through the southern part of my town. I thought the frost and fog provided for a quite lovely scene.

We are still quite cold and supposed to be even colder than earlier in the week so TGIF, I can hibernate for the next 2 days. This is another image I got the day we had some rare fog and Hoar Frost. I captured this Sumac seed head with frost over it. It had some nice bokeh in the image as well so I had to share it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

We are under quite the cold snap right now. It started on the weekend as I write this and today was supposed to be pretty bitter with a low of 1 F or -17 C. Yuck. On the first day of the month we had a rare event of fog which produced some lovely Hoar Frost. It was as thick as it would have liked but it was still quite lovely. I captured this image on an evergreen branch.
