The Killdeers are back so it is officially Spring! On a bike ride a couple of weeks ago now I was bale to capture one in flight for the first time and I thought it turned out fairly well. Killdeers are one of the first birds to return to my area each Spring.
Nice catch. I've never caught a killdeer in flight. When I see them they are already on the ground and may do a "flighty hop" not very far.
