This is the third train I was able to work on during the Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion this past Labor Day weekend.  It's the Wagner 14 inch gauge locomotive of the Ortner Railroad there, also known as the "Mighty Ortner".  Quite the fun large scale locomotive to run.  I took this image one evening after putting it to bed in it's roundhouse with new lighting that really finishes it off I think.

My image today goes back to Rollag Minnesota and the large scale 14 inch Wagner locomotive that I get to play with a couple times a year.  This was after one of the days run and we had put it to bed in it's new roundhouse home.  The area was all nice and cleaned up as well so I decided to take this image from the turntable looking in.

It's the last day of September and it has seemed to be such a long month.  My image today is of the Wagner 14 inch scale locomotive that I get to help operate in Minnesota at the Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion.  I captured it on it's new turntable ready to go into the new Roundhouse.  Both things have been a great addition to make it resemble full size operation more.

Having internet issues so posting very late and also missed a day.  I almost missed Steamy Sunday as well.  I'm having to post to G+ through my Blog because of the internet issues.
This is the 14 inch Wagner that I get to run in Minnesota in it's new Roundhouse.  It just got moved into it not too long before the show.  It's a great addition.

So today's image once again goes back to my visit to the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad.  This is on a walk one evening when I was looking around the yard at Chama, New Mexico.  This is the small roundhouse where they service the engines after they return from the days trip and they also keep ones ready to go in the morning.

My image today was taken when I visited Greenfield Village of the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan.  This is the Roundhouse that they still use to service the 3 steam locomotives that they rotate in operation.  It was originally built in 1884 for the Detroit, Toledo and Milwaukee Railroad in Marshall Michigan and was then moved here.  The locomotive on the right is a static display because it is too large to operate on the current tracks.  You can walk down underneath it for a unique view.

The snow yesterday was too wet and not good for snowflake images.  Unfortunately winter is back today and plants are looking pretty sad.  My image today goes back to a nice warm day in Minnesota at the Steam Threshers Reunion.  I was in the Roundhouse for the safety meeting and took this image of the locomotive I get to help fire on.  You can also see another I have fired on behind, a Porter locomotive that is currently not running due to needing some work done on it.  It's a fun one to fire on but small so not as popular because it gets pretty hot in the cab.  I enjoy it and hope it gets repaired some day.  353 is well liked because it's bigger and the cab is more roomy and it can pull a longer train.
