This is an image I captured a while back in Minnesota of a lovely duck family.  I believe they are Mallards.  I think the young ducklings are very cute when they are so fuzzy looking.

What lovely weather we have been having the last couple days.  Yesterday was almost too cool.  Nice to be out of that blazing heat for a bit.  My image today is one I captured on a photo trip in Alexandria, Minnesota a couple weeks ago.  This is a Mallard couple next to shore in the lake there.

I took this image while I was in Michigan after I was able to get some shots of an Egret.  This part of the stream was quite dirty, not sure if it was stuff off the trees or what.  I thought it created some nice bokeh.  I believe this duck is a Mallard.  There were several around at the time but I liked this image of this solitary one.

They keep extending the Excessive Heat Warning.  Now through the whole weekend.  UGH.  My veggies are struggling this year, well, all my plants are.  My image today is from cooler days in Michigan.  Lovely ducks, which I think were Mallards, and some dirty water made for a lovely image with sparkly bokeh.  When I was taking the shots, the water did not seem so dirty and I believe it's just plant material, but it really showed up in the images.
