It's Friday, TGIF!  As I write this we should be coming off another extremely hot week so I feel I will be in need of something that makes me happy.  A sunflower with a Metallic Bee and wonderful bokeh should do it.  Sharing this image with great bubbly bokeh for today too because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

I captured a lot of nature enjoying the Autumn Sedum this year.  This is an image of 2 Honey Bees enjoying the blooms with a Metallic bee on the way in.

I have a patch of Sunflowers growing in my yard this year that have done really well.  One of them produced the most vibrant red bloom I have ever seen on a Sunflower.  I captured this Green Metallic Bee, also known as a Sweat Bee enjoying it as much as I do one afternoon.

Posting a bit later today as I had a meeting.  This is another example of the nature that has come back around due to the warm weather we have been having.  This Green Metallic Bee which, I believe, is a female of the species Agapostemon Splendens because of the mostly green butt, or technically abdomen, where males have a yellow and black butt.  My Star of Bethlehem flowers were blooming all over for Easter this year and this bee was sure enjoying this one.
