It's Friday, TGIF!  As I write this we should be coming off another extremely hot week so I feel I will be in need of something that makes me happy.  A sunflower with a Metallic Bee and wonderful bokeh should do it.  Sharing this image with great bubbly bokeh for today too because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

Happy Monday!  I am growing a few Sunflowers this year, most of which are a red variety.  This one is such a deep red that it appears almost black.  It's quite lovely, I think.

TGIF!  It's Friday and Friday's are bokehlicious!  This image has some wonderful bubbly bokeh, my favorite.  My Sunflowers have been blooming every now and then and this Red one had just opened.  I had some that were volunteers and some I planted, I think the volunteers did better than the others.

I have several varieties of Sunflowers growing.  This one is lovely though rather short, only 2 feet tall.  Before the bloom opens it is almost back in color and I love the deep red of the petals.

This Sunflower was blooming yesterday evening while I was watering my flowers to prepare for the last day of intense heat today, hopefully.  I had planted several varieties of Sunflowers and a lot did not come up but the ones that did have been putting on a show.  This is a single plant that got quite tall and had these lovely reddish blooms.  2 of them were open and this one was just perfect and unblemished.

Still hot today but it's looking like only one more day of this.  My image today is of an almost perfect red Sunflower from my garden just a few weeks ago.

I am missing summer already.  Here is an almost perfect Red Sunflower I was able to grow this past year.  I'm still deciding on a new spot for them.  They were a bit to crowded.  I have several months to decide.  😏

We finally got a bit of rain the last couple of days.  Not really as much as we need but better than nothing.  I decided to share this image as the Sunshine we missed out on for a bit.  😃  This is an image of the red Sunflower I had growing in my yard that turned out so beautifully perfect.  I had a few produce but not as nicely as this one did.  I played with the image and muted the leaves around it.

I have a patch of Sunflowers growing in my yard this year that have done really well.  One of them produced the most vibrant red bloom I have ever seen on a Sunflower.  I captured this Green Metallic Bee, also known as a Sweat Bee enjoying it as much as I do one afternoon.
