Happy Monday and happy new week! I am starting off the week with a butterfly image. Well, technically a Skipper image. This one is supposed to be quite common in Kansas but I have not seen it, or at least, have not captured it until this year where I saw it fairly often. This is a Common Checkered Skipper that I captured on a Marigold in late October, more specifically, just about 2 weeks ago.
Not sure I have seen/noticed a skipper other than the plain brown ones
ReplyDeleteWe have Silver Spots and then this little tan kind but, as I mentioned, this was the first time for this one.
