I am really looking forward to summer and seeing these guys around again. This is a Twelve Spot Dragonfly that I was able to capture rather close up. Dragonflies and Damselflies are very cool creatures in my opinion. They can be fairly tolerant of having their photo taken. I love their huge eyes, very alien looking.
Nice catch Shelly. I've been trying to catch on the wing a few times this week. Came close, but....
