 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is one that I just got from my pond this past week.  This Dragonfly was nice enough to sit a bit for a photo in a spot with some great bokeh.  Sharing this image for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is one I hope to be taking soon.  This is a Dragonfly in my Gazebo pond on a reed.  I believe the Dragonfly is a Blue Dasher  It has a few bokeh bubbles in it which I really like so sharing it for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

 Thinking back to summer days and sightings of Dragonflies.  This is a Common Whitetail Dragonfly I captured on a bike ride in late June.  I like the wing patterns and shadow it made.

 It's a double digit day!  😃 I love seeing Dragonflies.  They are very cool creatures to me with their huge eyes and the way they are able to fly and hover, so fascinating to watch.  I captured this one at my Gazebo pond earlier this summer as it perched on a leaf.

I have a video Here of a cool event I witnessed this past week of a bunch of them flying around my small backyard pond.  I had never seen so many around that pond at one time or ever.

 Happy Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is one I was able to capture at my Gazebo pond recently.  I love the shimmer on it's wings, the light was just perfect that day.  I am sharing it for today because of the fabulous bokeh because Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog!

 It's Friday TGIF!  It's also a double digit day.  😁  I have been able to see and capture some Dragonflies at my pond lately.  I love the shimmer on this one.  It also had some great bokeh so I had to share for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

 Today is supposed to be the coldest we have been in any time that I can remember, -14 actual in the morning.  I need something to warm me up.  How about a Dragonfly that I captured on a railroad tie by one of my gardens.  I am pretty sure that this is a Twelve Spot.  I love having Dragonflies visit, they are such cool looking creatures.

 I need to feel warm as we are very cold once again.  The Almanac was sure not correct this year.  It was supposed to be warm and dry and it has been cold and wet.  😒  Anyway, here is a summer shot of a Dragonfly at my pond.  I love to see these guys around, like flying dragons.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  It's been a weird week due to the snow storm we had last Saturday into Sunday.  I've had enough to last me quite a while except there were none to photograph.  😒  Anyway, Friday's Are Bokehlicious and today's image is a different type of bokeh.  I like bubbly quite a lot but this type is also effect where it smooths out everything quite a bit.  This is a Dragonfly I captured on a decorative stake I have in one of my gardens.  The grass and leaves behind look very creamy.

 I have seen lots of Dragonflies around lately but not at my pond.  They have been flying around the fields for some reason.  Anyway, this is an image from earlier this summer of one that I captured resting for a moment.  I like how the wings were capturing the light.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is another Dragonfly that visited my yard and gardens.  I believe this one is called a Widow Skimmer.  Once again I chose this image for the great bokeh because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is of a Common Whitetail Dragonfly that I captured in one of my gardens recently.  I have a lot of different dragonflies hanging around lately which has been nice.  I chose this image for today due to the lovely bokeh behind because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

When I am in Minnesota, I usually get to see many dragonflies and damselflies.  The area must provide what they like because they are everywhere.  I was photographing some Damsels one afternoon when I saw a Dragon returning to basically the same spot repeatedly so I decided to try and capture it in flight.  It took a while but I finally managed it.  😁

 It's Friday, TGIF!  With all the rain we have received, my pond has been nice and full and lovely.  There were a number of Dragonflies around this past weekend enjoying it and I was able to get a number of shots of them as they perched for a moment on a reed.  This one had some beautiful bubbly bokeh behind it so I chose it for today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!  This is a 12 Spot Dragonfly.

 I am looking forward to seeing these around the pond again this summer.  I took this image of this Twelve Spot Dragonfly on a flower stalk near the garage though.  It was a non common occurrence of capturing a dragonfly away from the pond.

 I felt for a summery picture today, I am tired of winter.  This is a Dragonfly that I captured on a Pickerel Rush leaf this past summer.  Looking forward to sights like this again this summer.

 It's been very cold here already, down in the teens and it is only early November.  Not happy.  We are supposed to be warming up a bit for a while but it will probably go the opposite way and be too warm.  Never seems to be a happy medium.  Anyway, I will miss seeing flowers and nature around until next spring.  I captured this Dragonfly early last summer and will miss seeing these and Damsels around too.  I believe this may be a Common Whitetail but it's body is not white so not sure.

 It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is a subject that I love to photograph and usually provides some great bokeh.  Bokeh is important today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!  This is a 12 Spot Dragonfly once again showing off why it has that name.  😊
