12/13/22

 This is how I usually see these birds, flying away from me, but I was rather pleased with it anyway.  This is a Great Blue Heron and I was happy with the sharpness of it due to it being fairly close and showing more detail than I usually get as well.  I took this shot at the Baker University Wetlands in Lawrence Kansas this past May.

  1. For an in-flight shot that frequently is the angle, sometimes you get luck and it will take off to the side and fly by you. Nice catch.
