 I am doing something a bit different today, choosing a photo for it's bokeh.  Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog but any day can be Bokehlicious.  I captured this spider hanging off my railing recently.  I thought the creepiness of it was appropriate for the week since tomorrow is Halloween.   The bokeh, on the left hand side especially, was pretty great and since my photo tomorrow won't have bokeh it was a good one for today.  I believe this is a type of Orb Weaver Spider.

 I have a visitor to my garden that I am not sure I want.  This is a Black Widow spider with the iconic bulbous butt and hour glass mark.  It has built a web off to the side of one of my tomato plant cages.  So far, since I know it is there, I have decided to leave it because they, supposedly, won't bother me if I don't bother it.  We shall see.  😜

 With our recent warmer weather I am looking forward to flowers and sights of nature like this one.  I captured this Crab Spider in the Ironweed this past August waiting for a meal.  It probably was a good spot as I usually saw a lot of insects around the Ironweed.

 TGIF and Friday's Are Bokehlicious too!  I captured this image fairly recently and I loved all the bubbly bokeh captured behind the spider in it's web.  It was a nice fairly flat web as well so I was able to capture it mostly all in focus as well along with it's creator.

It's been cloudy off and on so I felt like something bright today.  I actually took this image with my old phone, a Note 4.  I rediscovered it the other day when I was copying images from the phone to my computer in preparation for getting a new phone.  It wasn't until I was looking at the image on my computer that I noticed the Sunflower on the left has a buddy hanging from it.  These Sunflowers were volunteers in one of my gardens this year.

So we got a bit of rain the other day.  It was pretty worthless as it was less than a tenth of an inch.  It did make for a nice photo though.  I was outside and saw this web in my miniature Lilac.  It is a 7 photo focus stack image to get as many of the rain drops in focus that I could.  If you look at it large by clicking on it you might even be able to see the spider that created it.  😃

I captured this image fairly recently.  I was taking several images of this web with dew drops on it to focus stack them together when suddenly the spider decided to come out and photobomb the shot.  It worked out and I didn't have to stay so close to the web for long with the spider right there.  LOL  This is 5 images stacked together.  I thought it was an appropriate image since Halloween is tomorrow and I find spiders rather creepy.

The Sunflowers that I planted in my garden this year have been a great draw for nature as well as being lovely to look at.  This one has a Bumble Bee that was enjoying it quite a lot.  It also has another visitor if you look closely after enlarging it by clicking on the image.

I was out at the railroad I help with yesterday and noticed one area that because of all the recent rain, had a lot of moss growing.  I decided I wanted to get some macro photos and while getting ready, this guy came into view.  I found out after I photographed it that it was a Jumping Spider so I was pleased it just sat there while I photographed it and didn't decide to jump at me or my lens.  😄 I was proud of myself for even taking this as I am not very fond of spiders and glad that it turned out pretty well.

My image today is a bit different since I am not into spiders much, they creep me out.  I was able to get a shot of this one without getting too close.  😀  I've had this shot around for a while but never shared it.  It seemed to fit for a theme on G+ today so I thought, why not.  It's a good nature shot.  LOL  So I hope it doesn't creep you out to much.

This is an older shot that I never shared.  It's kind of creepy and cool at the same time.  This is a nest of spider babies that I had spotted while walking through the yard one day.  I was amazed at how perfectly round the hole was and then also at how many little spiders there were too.  I have no idea what type they are.  I am amazed I got this close to take a photo as I am not fond of spiders to say the least!  😄

An arctic front is on the way so our warmer temps will be leaving.  Dreaming of Spring today with this image of Daffodils that I took in my yard.  If you enlarge the image you can catch sight of a spider waving Hi!

Happy Halloween!  Here's a creepy spider that I played around with a bit in Photoshop to make it a bit more creepy.  The color of the spider is natural though.

This is a quite large Garden Spider I saw and photographed one day.  They are quite large and I am thankful i have not walked into one of their webs yet.  I posted this on G+ today as well and there was some discussion on the type but it really is a Garden Spider as can be seen from this info:
