 We had a rainy end of July and then August started out cool and a bit humid and that really made the mushrooms pop up around the area.  I think mushrooms lend themselves well to a monochrome treatment to really bring out the detail in them.  I finally found out what these type are as well, they are Green Spored Lepiota mushrooms.  This is a 2 image focus stack to get all of them in focus.

It was only in the mid 60s this morning and it was glorious!  Only going to last for a couple of days before the heat returns but I will take it.  It was a refreshing morning for once.  I'm taking a break today from vacation images and going back to a shot from the Bi-plane Fly-In that was held in Junction City Kansas in early June.  This is a close up of a Stearman B-plane that I decided to do in a monochrome style to make it look more vintage.  They are former navy planes and are quite nice to see still flying.
