As I have mentioned, I have had a lot of opportunities for bird images this year, especially recently. While out on a bike ride the other day I had a chance to see a large group of Pelicans flying. It was neat to watch them almost disappear in the sky and then re-appear as they changed angle as the sun caught them. I took this image as they flew almost overhead before heading off towards the lake. This image is just a small part of the flock.

Today's image is of another bird I was able to capture while walking on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean in Florida. This Pelican was flying down the beach and flew very close as it passed over. It was very neat to see and be able to capture.

Today's image is the very first one that I took at the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. I was amazed it came out as well as it did, it was pretty far away but I fortunately had my Zoom lens on. I believe this is the same type of bird as I shared last week, an Osprey, diving for a fish in the water.
Turns out, I was mistaken in my ID, Ospreys hunt with their talons not by diving. Most likely this is a Pelican. There were Pelicans around I know, as I have a future image to share of one.
Thanks for the information to correctly ID this bird Jim!
