 It's Steamy Sunday here on the Blog!  Today's image goes back to my ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Rwy this past summer.  I took this image of our locomotive while we were stopped at Osier for lunch.  I thought the image worked well with a vintage look.  Lunch on the trip is now a buffet and it was delicious!

 It's Steamy Sunday here on the Blog!  Today's image is one I took while on the Cumbres & Toltec train ride a couple weeks ago.  This is the train from the Antonito Colorado side stopped at Osier Station where we had lunch.  In about the middle of the train ride, you get to stop at Osier Station and have, what is now, a buffet lunch which is actually very good.  There is some time then to walk around and take photographs which is nice.

I have a very short video HERE of the train getting ready to load passengers in Chama Yard.  It's very steamy.  😁

Every now and then I like to get back to my roots of Black & White photography.  I thought this image was a good one to do that with.  This was at our lunch stop on the Cumbres & Toltec at Osier Colorado.  The train from Antonito heading to Chama had pulled in and I was photographing it.  You can see an old cattle pen off to the side.

We are still getting some much needed rain.  Makes for it being quite dreary but it is helping my well so can't complain too much.  My image today is a companion one to yesterday.  While shooting the train on the embankment at Osier Colorado, I saw movement near me.  I discovered this little Chipmunk popping out of his home and watching me.  It posed so nicely I had to get a photo.

I took this image from the train as we left our lunch stop at Osier, Colorado and were heading to Antonito.  I shot this image across the valley of the other train that was on it's way to Chama, NM after stopping.  I was pleased it came out clear with the rocking and rolling the train was doing and I was using a zoom lens which made it even more difficult.
