 Today's image is from when I was in New Mexico.  This was taken in our campground.  There were a lot of Cottonwood trees that were dropping their fluffy seeds everywhere and it reminded of snow.  This little Chipmunk was running around looking for food and I got lucky with this shot when he paused for a moment.

I thought I would post something cute today.  Even Chipmunks like large scale trains.  This is a little Chippy that I captured running around the rails of the Wagner train I get to run up in Minnesota.

We are still getting some much needed rain.  Makes for it being quite dreary but it is helping my well so can't complain too much.  My image today is a companion one to yesterday.  While shooting the train on the embankment at Osier Colorado, I saw movement near me.  I discovered this little Chipmunk popping out of his home and watching me.  It posed so nicely I had to get a photo.

I decided to start off the week with a cute little Chipmunk I saw in Colorado.  We were stopped to let hikers off on the Dirango & Silverton ride and a few Chipmunks were around looking for a treat.

This is another image I got of one of the cute Chipmunks that were looking for a handout from the people on the Durango & Silverton train.  He posed quite nicely for me so had to share him.

So this is another of the cute Chippys that greeted our Durango & Silverton train during one of our stops along the way.  The Chipmunks were playing alongside and looking for handouts I am sure.  It's really not a good idea to feed wildlife, it can put them in danger they wouldn't otherwise be in and our food isn't what they naturally would eat and can make them ill.  I can see why people do it though, a face like this is hard to resist.  😀

When I was riding the Durango & Silverton Railway, our train made a few stops for water and also to let some people off her were going hiking or kayaking.  Their equipment was stored in the old boxcar behind the locomotive.  On one of the stops there were some cute Chipmunks running around.  I am sure they were looking for a handout from the passengers.  This one happens to be eating on a piece of plant it found.

We got another lovely rain over night, yay!  Bring on those May flowers.  :-)  My image today goes back to South Dakota and the Mickelson Trail.  I saw this cute little Chipmunk scurrying all over the rest area.  I was able to get a shot when it stopped to eat something for a moment.  There were 2 Chippys and usually in motion but once in a while they would briefly stop and I could get a shot of them.

Warm but dreary day and also windy since it's warm.  Sigh.  I decided on something from the archives today.  Here is a cute little Chipmunk that I was able to see and get photographs of as he stopped along his route to pose for me.  I saw this little guy in Rocky Mountain National Park.

It's day 5 of the Wildlife Challenge I am doing and today I am sharing an image from my trip to South Dakota this summer.  This is a cute little Chipmunk that I was able to capture a few images of before it dashed off to somewhere else.  There were a couple of these Chippys running around but they did not stay still for long.  This was taken at the rest stop on the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota at one of the Trail Heads.  I was on a break during the 20 mile bike ride I took on this trail.

What a lovely refreshing morning we had for a change today.  Low 60s, that was nice!  Today's image goes back to our bike trip in South Dakota.  At the Trailhead we first thought would be our destination, but then we rode further, we saw a couple of cute little Chipmunks running around.  We were resting and having a drink of water and I was able to get off a few shots of them.  They are just so cute the way they scamper around.
