 So this past week there was Aurora events or "Northern Lights".  On the 11th I did not go out to look and am still disappointed in myself as that night was much better from the photos I have seen by others.  From what I was reading it was not supposed to be visible in my area.  I went out on the 12th and I did get lucky that they were still visible here.  I took this with my phone on its astro setting and it caught it really well as it was not visible to the eye.  So this is my take on it, though not as spectacular as it could have been the night before.

 Happy Monday and new week.  Today's image is of my vintage Morning Glory.  It was very difficult to get it going this year for some reason.  I think it took 3 tries before I finally was able to get 2 plants to sprout.  Then the 100 plus temps came and started to burn the leaves so I had to protect it with a sheet which actually worked fairly well.  I love these flowers, the only problem with them is they close quite quickly after the sun comes up.  I took this image with my phone and a flashlight.  😄

 While out walking a little over a week ago, we had another gorgeous sunset.  I decided to try a panoramic shot with my new phone which is something I seem to forget that it can do.  This was the result.  It was quite the vibrant sky.  I only cropped off the bottom a bit and added a bit of vignette to it.
