It's March already! The year is moving along quite quickly so looking forward to real spring. We have been having much warmer weather but there is still the chance for snow at some point. I was looking through my photos for another image and found this one that I had never shared. These are some very small mushrooms that I found growing in the yard one morning. I liked the ridged or frilled caps on them and I believe these are called Inky Cap Mushrooms.
Neat looking shrooms. Are they blue, or is that shadows?
ReplyDeleteThey do look like the Hares Foot Inkcap mushrooms I found a a few months ago. They only last a few hours and leave no trace

They were!. They had a blue-ish cast to them but the shadows are probably enhancing. I used Google Lens and that's what it told me they were, the pics it gave did look the same. I had seen yours before but forgot they invert, that is cool.
