As I type this it is still in the 70s but the forecast is for high only in the low 40s. I am not ready. Today's image is one I took on the way home from something work related on Tuesday. Our autumn has been lovely despite the drought. I have been surprised that the leaves are saying on the trees as long as they have. Of course I had to share something train related. This is the Union Pacific track and bridge between my town and Abilene, Kansas.
We're getting the same temperature drop too. Our fall colours were as good as some years, but you're right they are hanging on later than usual
