I was really fascinated by a few of the trees they had at Hershey Gardens when I visited this past summer. I think this is a Japanese Maple. I really like the twisty trunks on them. I have always liked the Junipers out west for the same reason. I'd love to see this tree in autumn.
Neat looking tree. Never seen a Japanese maple looking like that, but it seems to be an elder statesman. The leaves certainly look like Japanese maple
