It's Friday, TGIF!  Friday's Are Bokehlicious as well and I have this lovely Hollyhock image for today with some lovely bubbly bokeh behind.  I shot this one from the rear and liked how the light accented the details of the petals.  These are growing in Rollag,MN behind the Shower House.  A big group of them that is always lovely to see.

  1. I always consider a hollyhock a basic plant, not really worthy of a "real" garden. I know that is completely unfair.

My Dad had them in the garden when I was a kid, but in an out of the way place where they weren't often seen. Maybe that is where my bias came from.

    1. I always view them as an heirloom or grand parent's plant. I think mainly because that's where I see them. :-)
