I captured this image in Missouri this past winter at the in-laws.  They have a Hawthorn tree out back and this male Cardinal posed so nicely in it.  Luckily I had my big zoom lens and I also cropped it in some.  It fit for my Bird Poker theme today of Bird's In Their Environment rather well I thought.
