So on the hottest day of the week I am posting a photo from winter.  Hope it cools you off.  My theme today was Bright Birds and in winter, male Cardinals are wonderful pops of color against the blah.  I captured this one during a late snow this past winter. He was all puffed out against the cold.  With this heat we are experiencing, I almost miss winter.  Almost.  😉
