Today's image is another that was done to recreate an 1800s image taken by my favorite photographer of the old west, William Henry Jackson. My photo is at a different angle because I didn't have the freedom he had to get off the train but was taken at about the same spot. This is our train on the Durango & Silverton Railway headed back to Durango. This shot is taken along the Animas River and Needle Mountain can be seen in the background. I have included WHJ's image below mine for easy reference again.
