It is Valentine's day today.  Hope it's a good one for all who have a special valentine.  😄  I received a miniature Rose plant from mine last year and this is one of the blooms it produced.  I planted it out in the garden by the large pond and so far so good, it is still living.

This is a companion image to one from a little over a week ago or so.  This is my miniature Hosta again and now the blooms are opening up.

So all around us and to the east got 5 inches of rain and we got nothing.  I didn't want that much at one time but a nice half inch would have been great so i didn't have to water.  Sigh.
Today's image is a macro for Monday.  Brings back the old days of Google + and Macro Mondays.  This is a 2 image focus stack of one of my mini Hosta blooms.

Happy Sunday and happy Easter Sunday to those who celebrate.  This is an image from last year because the miniature Lilac has yet to bloom.  I thought it appropriate for the day though, a steam train with flowers from my garden railway.

I was given a lovely little mini Rose plant for Valentines Day.  It's nice because if I don't kill it, like I almost did when I didn't realize it was so dry yesterday morning, it will last much longer than cut Roses.  This is a macro image of one of the blooms.
