It's not Wednesday but wanted to share this image.  😉😊  I have an area in the backyard where i have some Ox-eye Daisies that have kind of taken over.  I enjoy it in the Spring as it is like a small field of them and quite lovely.  I have tried to transplant some but I never seem to have much success.  They like this spot by my small pond and a raised garden bed.  I made the beginning comment because Ox-eyes are technically a wildflower.  The image is a bit different in size because it is a phone photo and I changed the format it takes photos in to a more cinematic style.

Happy Monday and happy new week!  Happy new month as well, it's September already!  I thought I would start off the week with another of my favorite flowers that always makes me happy to see.  This is a bloom from my Shasta Daisy I have growing in the back yard.

It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Ending up the wildflower's this month with another of my favorites, Ox-eye Daisy.  Daisies in general make me quite happy.  These seem to spread fairly well, when they want to.  In my yard they are spreading out but in a garden where I want them to, they are not being cooperative.  😏  Ox-eyes usually bloom in may and June.  They are in the Sunflower family and can grow up to 40 inches tall.

It's Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is one of a flower that I love seeing around and makes me happy.  It's technically a wildflower but I am sharing this image of it today dues to the lovely bubbly bokeh because Fridays Are Bokehlicious!  This is an Ox-eye Daisy bloom up close from last summer.

Happy Monday!  It's going to be a busy week for me so starting off with something that makes me happy.  This is a bloom off one of my Shasta Daisies.  They are done now unfortunately as I enjoy them very much.

It's the first Wildflower Wednesday of 2023 here on the Blog.  I am starting off with one of my favorites.  These are Ox Eye Daisies.  They usually bloom in May and June.  They are usually around a foot tall but can grow to 40 inches!  Daisies seem like such a cheery flower and always make me happy to see them.  These are growing in my backyard near my small pond.

I took this image in early summer but had never posted it.  It's one of my favorite flowers, a Daisy.  Like Sunflowers they just make me happy.  A good way to start off the week.

We made it to another Friday!  TGIF  It was a short work week but sometimes those seem longer than regular ones.  😊  Daisies always make me happy and this is an image I got of a new one for me this year.  I had ordered some Oxeye Daisy seeds and when they flowered they look a bit smaller and different than ones that had already been growing in the yard.  It was drawing these really small insects to it, not sure what they were.  Because Friday's Are Bokehlicious I chose this image for the lovely bubbly bokeh behind the flower.

I have a day off today so posting early.  A bright photo today of some lovely flowers I was given as a gift this week.  These are Daisy Poms which are a type of Chrysanthemum.

Just some lovely wildflowers I photographed in Minnesota one summer.  This is a group of Daisy Fleabanes so named by the pioneers because they believed they could keep fleas away.

I shot this image this past summer in Colorado while I was waiting for our train to depart in Silverton.  I think this is a type of Metallic Bee on a Daisy that was growing by the tracks.

Fridays are all about bokeh for me so I thought I would share this lovely Daisy shot I took recently.  These are growing beside my pond and the bit of pink bokeh is a Water Lily blooming behind them.

I felt like sharing a summer shot today.  It's been a long week so I wanted to enjoy some happy Daisies.  These were growing beside my pond early this summer.  They spread like crazy but I enjoy them so that's a good thing.  It would be a pain if I didn't because they escaped out of the actual garden to grow beside the pond like this.  😉  I liked the bokeh that the Lily pads produced in this image.

Yikes it's cold and this morning the weather prediction was right on with 12 F.  Yuck.  To try and stay warm I am dreaming of summer.  I had this image to help me with that.  This is a group of Daisy Fleabanes, one of which has a couple buddies you can see better if you view large by clicking on the image.  :-)

Saw the sun this morning.  That was nice, yesterday was dreary.  :-)  Wanted a happy shot for today so here is a bumble bee on a Daisy bloom that I captured this past weekend.  My Shasta Daisy has been doing very well this year.

It's Friday!  It's been a long week.  It's rainy too.  Because of that I decided to share some happy Daisies.  These were growing alongside my pond this summer.  It had rained on this day too so the drops behind created some nice spots of bokeh effect.

Another hot one today.  Sigh.  I was hoping for some good green beans soon but they don't grow well in the heat.  My Daisies are liking this warm weather and grew well this year.  This is an image of some of them that have escaped my garden and are growing in the yard by my pond.  Made for a happy sight for the start to the weekend.  :-)

Dreary sprinkly day today.  We need the rain though.  My Daisies are blooming in the garden.  Well, actually some have excaped the garden and are blooming alongside it and by the pond.  I am not sure the type of these Daisies, they are not Shasta, they seem to spread and come back well and that's about all I know.  When I took this shot this title popped in my head, It's This Way.  So, yay, another picture titled.  :-)

Today started out very dreary, a good day to stay in bed and sleep except that I have a pesky job.  :-)  It has been raining in other parts of town but not at my house much.  That is annoying as well.  Ah well.  Today's shot is from the bike trip on the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota of some happy Daisies growing alongside the stream that the trail ran along for the most part.

Well, summer is still staying pretty warm.  Tonight isn't even supposed to get cool and I hate that.  Ah well, as I mentioned, I'll soon be whining that it's too cold out.  So this goes back to June when these wildflowers were in bloom.  These are Daisy Fleabanes out on Konza Prairie and it was a very good year for them.  This field was just filled with them and made a lovely image I thought.
