It's Friday, we made it TGIF!  Today's flower is actually a wild one that I have been able to see when I am in Minnesota in June.  This is a Pink Lady Slipper that can usually be found at the Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.  I had to share this one today due to the lovely bubbly bokeh behind the flower because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

It's Friday and Friday's Are Bokehlicious!  Today's Bokeh image is of a Dragonfly I captured while I was in Minnesota at Tamarac Wildlife refuge.  The amount of dragonflies in that area is amazing, they are everywhere.

It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog once again!  The year is half over as of today, wow it is going quickly.  Anyway, today's wildflower is once again from Minnesota.  This is their state flower and is the Showy Lady Slipper, a memeber of the Orchid family.  I found this group a couple of weeks ago while at Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.

It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  I am going to do something a bit different today and share a Minnesota wildflower.  I was recently up there and visited my favorite place to go, Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.  Growing along the road were a large number of Wood Anemone flowers.  Here is a closeup of one of the blooms and a bud.

We are heading back in to winter.  I like the warmer weather but this is better so things don't start budding out and getting damaged.  This image today was taken on a warm day in June in Minnesota at Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.  This Dragonfly posed very nicely for me in some reeds so I had to take an image of it.

It's the last day of November and the pressure is on to Christmas with buying gifts.  Sigh.  My image today is a summery one because the day started out blah again and I am tired of blah days.  This is from Tamarack Wildlife Refuge in Minnesota from this past June.  I captured these 2 dragonflies in 2 different images and stacked them together to show both in focus in Photoshop.  I wish I had done a shot or 2 more to get the leaves in between them in focus as well but I was lucky they stayed still for even 2 shots.
