I mentioned before that I brought my African Daisy Spoon flower plants inside to over winter.  They have been blooming quite well, better than they did outside this summer.  This is the other color that I have, I have shared a photo of the white one not too long ago.  The stem was actually bending over so this is how the flower was facing at the time.

It's December and only 3 weeks till Christmas Break.  Yikes time is flying by.  Today's image is another of my Spoon Flower from the Osteospermum family or African Daisy as it is more commonly known.  I dug it out of it's pot and re-potted it in a different one to bring indoors for the winter.  It has been happily flowering indoors better than it did outside.  Brightens up the work space where I have it.  The purple variety has never flowered as well so if you find one, this is the better color to get if you want blooms.

This is the other color African Daisy/Osteospermum/Spoon Flower than I had this summer.  I love the unique petal shape this flower has.  I have kept it alive so far at the office and it's been blooming well there so far.

A while back I shared a Black & White image of this flower.  This flower is commonly called an African Daisy or Spoon flower due to the leaf tips.  The more accurate name is Osteospermum.  I love the flowers this variety puts out.  I need to find a different place to plant them, they do not like our hot summers and don't flower when it is really hot out.  Therefore a pot on the deck is not ideal for here.  Now that it has cooled off some again, it is flowering again.

Well, we got the rain we were promised.  Have good chances for Tuesday as well so hope we get some more.  My pond is looking pretty good again right now but could use a bit more.  
For today's image I went back to my Black & White roots with a subject I really thought worked well in it.  I had this flower several years ago and then never found it again until this year.  It's a type of Osteospermum called an African Daisy or Spoon Flower due to the petal shape.  This is a white variety bloom of them.
