My Red Salvia has been a reliable plant for me, surviving even in 100 degree weather well. The bees like it as well which is nice. I captured this Bumblebee enjoying it one afternoon recently.

I was able to get this image just about a week ago. My Red Salvia has still been blooming as we have not had a freeze as of yet. I liked this image as it seemed to be coming up out and into focus. This is actually a 2 image focus stack to bring out a bit more detail.

I have a neat flower that is blooming in the garden right now. It is red Salvia and it's quite different than the purple variety. The blooms are quite small and remind me of an orchid type flower.
