I feel for a summery photo for today because winter is supposed to be back tonight. This is an image of a Bumblebee enjoying Purple Prairie Clover on a summer day last year.

It's Wildflower Wednesday on the Blog! Today's wildflower is an oddity. This is Purple Prairie Clover that is supposed to be finished blooming in August. I photographed this on the 11th of October and saw it still blooming a week after that. It has been quite a weird year all around.
