I was out watering plants last week and was able to capture this little guy.  He was sitting on a piece of plastic screening I was using to stop squirrels from digging in one of my pots.  It looked like he was comfortably posing for me.  😄

Today's post is another of the cute little frog that was hanging out in one of my plants this fall.  I would see it when I was watering because it seemed to not appreciate getting wet.  This is a Cope's Gray Treefrog.

Fairly often, while watering my plants, because we get no rain!  I digress.  Fairly often I see my Tree Frog buddy.  I discovered that he also has a big brother living in another one of these plants, the yellow one.  They apparently like Gerberas as much as I do.  They don't like getting wet though so that's how I get to see them.  😅

I was in Minnesota this past weekend and working with the Large Scale Wagner locomotive.  I was getting it ready to move out onto the turntable but there was this little guy was chilling on the rail.  He looked a bit sleepy to me.  I moved him before I went out with the locomotive to be sure it would be OK.  He had very sticky feet and seemed happy to sit on my arm as I took him off to the side.  I believe it's a type of tree frog, most likely a Cope's Gray Tree frog.

This guy has startled me a couple of times this year because I will be working around the yard and suddenly it moves and I had not seen it.  One evening I was out by the backyard pond for a reason I can't remember at the moment and I looked over toward the downspouts for the gutter and saw something odd.  I went in and got a flashlight and saw this Gray Treefrog waiting for a meal.

I was working in one of my gardens last week and this guy jumped onto my finger.  I placed him on a Milkweed leaf and it stayed there while I ran and got my camera.  I really liked how this shot turned out and it makes me wonder what frogs think about.  I think this is the same guy that has been driving my cat nuts in the evening by sitting on my office window and waiting for bugs.  😄  I believe this is a Cope's Gray Treefrog.
