 Happy Monday and happy new week!  Today's image is of the other Clematis that I was gifted by some friends.  It's rather unique looking I think and I look forward to spring and seeing more blooms on it.

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  I was given a couple of Clematis by some friends earlier this year.  They have been establishing themselves and must be doing okay as they bloomed recently.  I always thought they only bloomed in the spring.  Anyway, I really love the colors on this one and thought I would share it for today as a lovely start to the week.

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  I was over at a friends house last weekend and their Clematis was blooming and looking lovely.  I have never had one of my own, may have to change that.  😁

 It's Friday, TGIF!  The Clematis seem to be blooming around the area right now.  I do not have any, this is a friend's and the photo is from last year.  I chose it for today because of the beautiful bubbly bokeh because Friday's Are Bokehlicious here on the Blog!

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  I had another opportunity to photograph some Clematis blooms.  My neighbor has some growing that have become bigger each year.  I think this is the third year for them.  They are a lovely purple/blue color depending on the age of the blooms.

 Happy Monday and happy new week!  Today's image is of a flower I like a lot but have never tried to grow.  This is an image of my mom-in-'law's Clematis that was blooming while I was there for a visit in early May.  Not sure why I have never tried to grow these flowers.  I guess I just have never figured out the perfect spot.

 I took this picture at my in-law's home last year, the last time we were able to visit before the virus got really serious.  It was a lovely Clematis bloom that I played around with the background a bit.

Happy First Day of Spring!  It has finally arrived though we are still a bit chilly in the mornings.  It has been a long winter and I am looking forward to things greening up and flowers blooming.  This is the Clematis of some friends of mine in bloom from this past year.

With the bitter cold weather we have been having, everything is killed off now.  I decided to share the color version of the monochrome Clematis I shared a little bit ago.  It really gives a pop of color.

A nice warm and beautiful day today.  I enjoy working in monochrome at times because my photography roots are in Black & White with the classes I took early on learning how to photograph better and develop my own prints.  I look for subjects that work well with a monochrome treatment.  I thought this one was a good example.  This is a macro image of a Clematis bloom from my neighbor's plant.

Well, the rain was pretty much a bust.  We got a couple of OK sprinkles but no good amounts to speak of.  Starting out dreary today too but not much chance of rain.  I thought I would brighten things up with a macro image of a Clematis bloom.  My friends have this growing and it is blooming quite profusely and I love the color.  They are such a lovely magenta.
