This is an image of Homer's Pond a little over a week ago. After I took this photo, on the weekend we had very strong winds which blew a lot of the leaves out of the trees and reminded me why we usually don't have a very colorful fall. The trees were very pretty tell the wind came.

This is Rustic Falls in Yellowstone National Park I believe. We saw it on the way to one of the geyser areas. Was just along the side of the road but I found the shape of it quite lovely.

These are a pair of Egrets I was able to see at the swimming lake out at Milford State Lake. This is zoomed in and also cropped. I wish I had one of those fancy lens that wildlife photographers use but they are out of my price range. Have to make do with what I have.

This is a wildflower that is around in the late summer and early fall. It's called Snow on the Mountain and is in the Poinsettia family.

It's Steamy Sunday over on Google + so I shared this photo for that as it is nice and steamy. Thought I would share it here as well. It's the Grotto Geyser in Yellowstone National Park from this July. It was happily shooting up fountains of water and lots of steam. Never saw it fully erupt but this was fairly impressive in itself. It has a slight HDR effect on it to bring out some details.

This is another of the photos I took of the sunflower field that was south of here late this summer. I liked this one due to the clouds in the background and the little butterfly on one of the sunflower heads. I believe it's a Cabbage White butterfly. Hope this field is there next year as well. Would like to get there at different times of the sunflower's growth.

The Fall colors are really on display lately. Usually things turn yellow and then brown and drop. Actually seeing some orange and reds. Here are some Oak leaves glowing in the sun.
