So since it has been getting warmer out the insects are starting to return.  I caught this Argus Tortoise Beetle on the leaf of a Mum that's coming up.  I was trying to get a head on shot of it and I did but it must not have liked me there so it tucked in it's antennae.  So here is the side shot where you can see those.  :-)

Taking a break for a day from vacation shots to share one that I got not too long before we left.  I was out trying to find bees and butterflies and found this Argus Tortoise Beetle walking on blades of grass.  I even came up with a title which is rare for me.  I Walk the Line  It's to be a scorcher today, hope you are staying cool.  Hope we cool off a bit as predicted as well though it's not much.  Sigh

It's the first day of my Thanksgiving break!  Yay!  Today's image is of a little guy I found on a Milkweed leaf this past summer.  I believe that this is an Argus Tortoise Beetle.  They usually are found on Bindweed.  Must not have been enough around at the time.
