 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  My flower for today is Stenosiphon. It's in the Evening Primrose family and usually blooms July through September.  I found this one in the second week of September.  In drought, this plant will drop it's leaves and conduct photosynthesis through the stem.  They can grow to 9 feet tall.

It's Wildflower Wednesday!  Today's flower is another new one for his year.  It is not a very photogenic one but it is a common one around our area.  It is called a Stenosiphon.  Some may call it an Antenna plant but that isn't a totally common name.  It usually blooms July through September but I found it still blooming in October on Konza Prairie.
