 I felt like sharing a butterfly today.  This is an image I captured this summer of a Red Spotted Purple that was enjoying the Butterfly Milkweed in my garden one day.

 Happy Monday!  It's a double digit day!  😀  I thought I would start this week off with a butterfly.  This year was pretty good for a variety of butterflies I was able to see and capture.  This is a Red Spotted Purple that I was able to capture on my Butterfly Milkweed this past summer.

 My Mulberries have been quite the draw this year, especially the ones that have fallen on the ground.  I have had many butterflies coming to eat the fermenting fruit.  This one is new to me.  It is a Red Spotted Purple butterfly and they are supposed to be fairly common but this is the first time I have ever, knowingly at least, seen one, for sure the first time to capture one.
