It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog! Today's flower is one of my favorites, Daisy Fleabane. Daisies in general of any type make me happy. It's very hard to tell the exact type of Fleabane, I am thinking Annual based of the leaves but could be one of the others. Fleabanes generally bloom May through August. They are in the Sunflower family in actuality and those make me happy as well. 😂
It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog once again! We are already more than halfway through the year. This is actually an image from last year that I never shared of a flower that blooms everywhere in my area. This is Daisy Fleabane. It can be a nuisance as it gets in gardens and lawns and my garden railway. It is a lovely one though so I generally try to leave it for the bees and butterflies. They usually bloom May through September and can grow to 3 feet tall. There is also another type of Fleabane called Annual and the 2 are rather difficult to tell apart. 😊
It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog! Today's image is of a Daisy Fleabane that was quite confused. Fleabanes usually bloom from May to September but I found this one just a week and a half ago. A lot of flowers were confused this year with the long drought we had and then a freeze and then nights in the 50s again. Very weird weather. Fleabanes are very drought resistant.
It's Friday, TGIF! It's also a double digit day. 😀 Today's image is of some lovely Fleabane flowers that I took while it Minnesota. They seem to have a bit different variety there, they are fluffier looking and have a pinkish cast to them. I chose this image for today due to the lovely bubble boke because, as you know if you follow this Blog, Friday's Are Bokehlicious!
It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog. It's the last one of 2022. Today's flower is one that is fairly small and usually grows in clusters. This is a Daisy Fleabane. They usually bloom May through September. They were thought to keep fleas away by ancient Europeans but there is no proof of this.
It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog! Todays flower is an incredibly prolific one here in my area of Kansas. It grows everywhere and very easily like a weed. It has lovely dainty flowers though. This is Daisy Fleabane, named that because early settlers believed it would keep fleas out of their cabins if they brought cut flowers from the plant inside.
