 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Today's flower in a type of Clasping Cone flower.  They usually bloom May through July.  They can grow up to 2 feet tall.  They seem to like clay type soils.

 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Today's flower is the Clasping Coneflower.  It normally blooms May through July and I took this image in June.  It is in the Sunflower family and can grow to 2 feet tall.

 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Today's flower is the Clasping Coneflower.  The amount of dark red on the flowers can vary and be quite small.  This group had the red coloring very prominent.  The flowers usually bloom May through July and they are in the Sunflower family.  They are very abundant in clay soils so that's why they are prominent in my area.  😂

 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog!  Today's image is one that bloomed profusely in this area this year.  There were some ditches that were just filled with them.  These are Clasping Coneflowers and they bloom May through July.  They are part of the Sunflower family.

 It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog once again!  This weeks flower is a fun one to see.  They seem rather dainty but also seem to last longer than some.  These are Clasping Coneflowers and they bloom May through July.  I photographed this group in June of last summer.

It's Wildflower Wednesday on the Blog once again.  These are some that have been in bloom for the past few weeks.  These are Clasping Coneflowers.  I shot them over at Spring Valley Schoolhouse which has a lot of wildflowers blooming.
