Todays image is one I took earlier this year.  This is a Blue Damselfly that had a look at me while took it's photo.  It was sitting on a leaf over at the Gazebo Pond and stayed still for a portrait.

While I was in Minnesota I saw an abundance of Dragonflies and Damselflies.  There is something about that area that they love.  I was able to capture one of the sharpest Blue Damsel photos I have ever taken, this one.  I love all the little hairs on them that you don't really notice all the time.

I love seeing Dragon and Damselflies, they look so interesting and alien at the same time.  I captured this Damselfly on a spent flower stalk in the large pond one afternoon.  The plants behind it were creating quite the beautiful bubbly bokeh.  I had to share this image for today because it's Friday and Friday's are Bokehlicious!

We made it to Friday, TGIF!  Today's image is of a dainty Damselfly I captured on a rock in the big pond.  I think it's a Blue damsel.  I liked the bubbly bokeh on the right side so of course I had to share it today because Friday's Are Bokehlicious!

The Damselflies have been out at my pond lately.  I captured my first one last Friday.  This is a Blue Damsel on a Cattail reed.

It's Friday!  My image today is from this summer again, I'm thinking warm thoughts since it's cold out.  I captured this Blue Damselfly just outside my garden on a blade of grass.

Happy Labor Day in the US!  For a lot of us, it's a day off, for others it's just a normal Monday.  ðŸ˜‰  This is a Blue Damselfly that I captured sitting on the Limestone rock that I have surrounding my garden.

Another hot one today.  The wind is supposed to pick up again too.  Sigh.  I captured this image a week ago Saturday.  I liked it for the bokeh created by the water and out of focus Damselflies.  This is a group of Blue Damselflies with the one in front being well reflected in the water of the pond at the railroad from yesterday's image.

6/4/16

So this is day 6 of my nature postings.  I captured this image at the railroad I volunteer at by the pond like the Hummingbird photos were.  These are Blue Damsels and they were everywhere along the water's edge.  They did not sit still for long, mostly because one like I was able to capture would come in and up to it and make it take off.  I think they are pretty little things with their blue color.
