When I have gone over to my Gazebo pond I could always hear the frogs there squeak and then jump into the pond but never saw them, only the ripple in the water. Last week I finally was able to get my first image of one near one of the Lilypads. I believe it's a Bullfrog.
Certainly looks like a bull frog. (I always mix them up with green frogs until I get home and check - green frogs have ridges down their back.)
