The Killdeers are back in the area. They seem to leave for a few months when it is really cold and then return fairly early. I captured this image of a pair of them a couple of weeks ago while on a bike ride.
Killdeer were quite considerate letting you get that close. Nice to have gotten out on the bikes already.
They were! With the weird weather, we have been able to ride off and on all winter this past year. So much yoyo temps.
