It's Wildflower Wednesday here on the Blog! This is one of my favorites, Wild Columbine. They usually bloom in April and May so not too long now till I can see again. The flowers are relatively small compared to the varieties found elsewhere, such as Colorado where Columbine is the state flower. It is also known as Red Columbine.
One of my favourite spring flowers. Either I am not looking hard enough or there are fewer around the last few years
