So I was able to get a bit better photo of the Elk that seems to be a new resident with a ranch down the way from me that has a couple horses. It was still a fair distance away but I had my actual camera with me for a capture. It appears to be a female.
Don't often see lone elks on a ranch. Have to wonder where they got it. Or whether they are thinking about going into elk ranching
ReplyDeleteI know, it's weird. The fur on it looks rough so wondering if they are rehabilitating? Could be just shedding winter coat I guess too.
